Description
The charming stone house is located on the edge of the historic center of Farindola, nestled among the gentle hills and impressive mountain landscapes of the Gran Sasso National Park. It offers an authentic holiday atmosphere – peaceful, close to nature, and full of character.
The careful renovation was carried out with great attention to detail and deep respect for the historical fabric of the building. The original brick vaulted ceilings were uncovered and beautifully restored, while the roof was completely rebuilt using exposed wooden beams in keeping with traditional local construction methods.
From the spacious balcony, there is a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, reaching all the way to the Corno Grande – at 2,912 meters, the highest peak of the Apennines – offering a natural panorama of extraordinary beauty. Directly in front of the entrance, a sunny terrace invites you to relax, with plenty of space for outdoor dining. The house is laid out over two floors. On the lower level, there is an old vaulted cellar with exposed brick and natural stone walls. In one corner, a historic well – now sealed – remains as a quiet testament to the past.
The upper floor, accessible directly from the terrace, houses the living area, with a cozy lounge and a spacious kitchen-diner. A built-in fireplace and a generous panoramic balcony lend the space a special charm. Behind the kitchen, carved into the rock, is a small natural cellar – perfect for keeping wine cool.A hallway leads to the bathroom and the bedroom. The entire house is bright, well-organized, and offers a high level of comfort. Access is convenient: you can drive up to just a few steps from the front door.
