Minutes from the city centre is a beautiful lake where you can explore, hike or bike throughout its nature reserve trails and from the town, visible are the slopes of The Gran Sasso d’Italia Mountains (of which has the highest peak in central Italy) and its National Park reachable by car in 45 minutes.
